What is the cheapest time of year for flights from the usa to a caribbean destination?

1. Usually summer, because no one wants to go to the Caribbean in the summer, for it is over 100 degrees there and humid. Also, it's hurricane season, so out of fear, no one wants to go. Summer is really the off-season for traveling to the Caribbean.
2. reeS is correct. Few people take trips to the Caribbean in the summer because of the oppressive heat and humidity. I went off-season to the Cayman Islands. The heat was awful!
