How many runs do the West Indies need to compete with Australia?
I say 450 as Australia nearly always get 500 on the Adelaide pitch and the West Indies cant afford to be too far behind in their 2nd innings. Also, great innings by Bravo and a good series so far being the leading wicket-taker and runs scorer for the West Indies! :)

- 500+ West Indies bowling attack can't even scrath the first 4 batsmen, they alone can score 400 among them.
- If the pitch somehow sprouts some life (hahaha), I won't be surprised if the Aussies could be skittled for about 300 runs. IDK about you but I dont have the confidance I used to.
- You're probably right, Adelaide's always such a flat track but they may find it hard to get to 400 now. As well as WI have batted today, I have my doubts they can back up in their second innings. Congrats to Bravo (or Bravo for Bravo perhaps!), but it's a team game and the support was lacking, they should never have slumped to 6/336.
- 1 or 2 early wickets should do the trick. Bring on Bollinger and Siddle, they'll rip em' up. Bravo to Bravo!
- 500
- 700
- Sounds good but it won't happen. W.Indies should get on the FRONT FOOT. Declare at 360, set an attacking field and GO-FOR-It!.
- The pitched looked a little flat to me except it had a bit of carry in it. This pitch would suit the stroke-makers like Ponting, Watson, Clarke and Haddin as the ball will come on to the bat just a little bit quicker. 400 is always a nice milestone to reach in Test Cricket but the way in which scoring rates have increased over the past 5 years does now suggest that 450 would be needed for the West Indies to be able to safe. The pitch doesn't look like it will crack much and it will remain flat in the next 2 days, so West Indies definitely need more runs on the board. Adelaide can spin on days 4 & 5 so Hauritz and Benn may become a factor. All in all it should be a decent Test Match
